Turnaround Time
The amount of time required to complete a task depends on the task and our current workload. Smaller tasks such as minor website updates, sending out a newsletter, adding a product to a shopping cart or scheduling a blog post are usually completed in 24-48 hours of receiving all required information. Larger tasks may require more time and we’ll send an estimated completion time upon receiving all the details.
Note that if you send changes to the original task it will change the amount of time required. For example, if you ask us to schedule an issue of your ezine and we let us know it’ll be done the next day, then decide you want a new ezine template as well, that will add some time to the task and it may be an additional day or two for completion.
Also please note that we are not available 24 hours a day (we do sleep!) and we limit our availability on weekends so that we can spend time with our families. We also carefully monitor our client lists and workload so that we are able to keep a quick turn around time.
If a task is urgent please mark it as such and we will do our best to complete it the next business day. However, we cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to complete tasks sent to us with a time frame of less than 24 hours. Please don’t send us something and ask for it to be done within an hour or by 5pm the same day. This is to be fair to all our clients. If we allowed “emergency” projects to push everything else back, next time it could be your projects that would be late and that wouldn’t be good. Do not ask us to make exceptions to this policy. If you routinely need projects completed within hours of your request, we are not the right virtual assistants for you.
