If you’re new to working with a virtual team, you may have questions about the required contract.

The contract is designed to protect us both from legal liabilities so that we can relax in a good working relationship.

As soon as we receive your signed contract we can start working our VA magic to lighten your workload and help create virtual freedom for you!

Here’s a quick summary of the main points:

• When you hire us, you are paying for our time and services but we do not become employees of your company.  This means you don’t have to worry about tax deductions, medical insurance, or any of the other issues that come with employees.  We’re responsible for paying our own income taxes.
• We provide our own business equipment such as computer, printer, phone, email address, and internet access.
• If your projects require expenses you will be billed for the expense.  For example, if we mail packages or other correspondence you will be responsible for the postage and it’s not included in our hourly rate.
• We’ll bill you in ten minute increments (so if you don’t need an hour of work done, it’s not going to cost you an hour of time).
• You’ll treat us with respect and we will treat you with respect.
• We’ll need you to provide the information, graphics, etc for us to complete the work you request.
• We aren’t responsible for errors if the error was in the original information sent to us.  If we do make a mistake, we will work immediately to fix it at no extra costs.
